What is an AA Meeting?
An AA Meeting is a place to spread a message of strength, hope and courage to other alcoholics. This is a safe place for an alcoholic seeking sobriety to come in and ask for help. These meetings in Atlantic City, Wyoming will help them build a support network to help achieve sobriety. You will be invited in by your peers that have all lived and survived from alcoholism. Their ability to maintain a sober life is dependent on helping others and giving back to others the gift that was given to them.
The Best Method of Selecting an AA Meeting in Atlantic City, Wyoming
It is important when coming to AA that you choose a meeting that is best for where you are at in sobriety. The 1st type of meeting is a new comers meeting and is not solely for new comers but is a meeting that motivates them to share their stories and accept help. Another type of meeting would be a single gender meeting, which is only open to either men or women. A Closed meeting simply means the group is solely focused on conversations regarding how to stay sober from alcohol. Speaking of any other illicit substances is not allowed. A Step Study is a meeting that is simply focused on a single step and discussed in length regarding the best approach to working this step and applying it to your daily life. Traditions meetings are focused around the 12 traditions of AA. The 12 traditions are not the same as the 12 steps. The traditions are built to maintain order throughout AA and holding each group accountable to these traditions is the reason you can walk into an AA Meeting anywhere in the world to hear the same message.
How to get the most out of your initial AA meeting in Atlantic City, Wyoming
