Make sure during opening remarks that you raise your hand to let the group know this is your first meeting. Don’t forget to ask for a meeting list, with phone numbers of the group members. Last, but certainly not least don’t be afraid to raise your hand and speak, let the group know what lead you to your first Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
