Make sure during opening remarks that you raise your hand to let the group know this is your first meeting. Make sure to request a meeting list, with phone numbers of the group members. The last thing to remember is don’t hesitate to raise your hand and speak, share the story that lead you to your first Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
